Event History
Founded in 1932 as Strasbourg's "Autumn Fair," the European Fair has evolved significantly. It gained momentum in the 1950s amidst Franco-German reconciliation and infrastructure expansion. The fair moved to a new exhibition site in 2019 and has seen a dedicated management since 2022. Attendance has shown consistent growth, with 133,898 visitors in 2024, a 9% increase since 2022. The fair continues to innovate its offerings, focusing on animations, concerts, and diverse thematic exhibitions, such as the 2024 edition honoring the Franco-German entente and featuring Lisbon.
